A bridge as a denture is used to close a tooth gap, which can be one or more teeth wide. It not only achieves an optical improvement compared to a gap in the teeth, but also restores the chewing function. There are basically three different types of dentures: -Bridge -Dental implants -Dental prosthesis While the dental implants are firmly anchored in the jawbone, the dental bridge is attached to the adjacent teeth of a tooth gap. A great advantage of a dental bridge is its long service life, with proper care it can last 10-20 years. It is made of either precious metal or ceramic. Basic requirements for the use of a dental bridge are sufficient stability of the surrounding abutment teeth and good oral hygiene.
